Security · IT review packet

Forward this packet before an internal review.

A concise review summary for IT, risk, compliance, procurement, and executive sponsors evaluating The AI Banking Institute. It covers what the product is, what data it handles, what learners should not enter, and what the Institute does not claim.
Product scope

What the Institute provides.

Individual products are self-serve. Institution seats, dashboards, and Team Assessment rollouts are scoped before purchase so support, reporting, and privacy expectations are agreed first.
Free and In-Depth Assessments

Learners answer readiness questions. The paid assessment adds a written report, peer-band context, and a 90-day action register.

Foundation Course

The course teaches AI use through banking scenarios, prompts, templates, saved artifacts, and a final Foundation Packet.

AiBI Lab and Toolbox

Authenticated learners can run model-backed exercises and save artifacts. Static reading pages and previews do not call AI models.

Support and refunds

Purchase help routes to hello@aibankinginstitute.com. Refund eligibility is reviewed by a human, and Stripe refunds are issued manually.

Data posture

Synthetic-first training with explicit prompt boundaries.

The safest operating rule is simple: use sample facts, redacted facts, or institution-approved non-sensitive inputs. Do not use the product as a place to process customer records.
Practice data

Public previews and lessons use synthetic or sanitized banking examples. Customer records are not required to complete the training.

Prompt boundary

Learners are instructed not to enter customer PII, account numbers, confidential files, credentials, secrets, or non-public exam material.

Provider calls

When a learner runs an AiBI Lab or Toolbox model action, the prompt, system instructions, and relevant conversation context are sent to the selected paid API provider for that response.

Stored records

The app stores account data, assessment responses, course progress, saved artifacts, support cases, and operating metadata needed to run the product.

Automated checks

Server checks block common PII patterns and prompt-injection attempts, but those checks are guardrails and not a substitute for institution policy.

Human review

AI output is treated as draft work until a banker reviews the facts, policy fit, escalation needs, and reuse boundary.

Trust boundaries

What this packet does not ask reviewers to assume.

The Institute uses public references and reviewable work products, but it does not present those references as approvals of the company, curriculum, or credential.
The Institute does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GLBA, or other third-party security certification status.
No regulator, examiner, agency, bank, credit union, or trade association is presented as approving or endorsing AiBI credentials.
Certificate verification confirms authenticity of an AiBI-issued certificate; it is not an external endorsement.
ROI examples are illustrative and based on stated assumptions; they are not guaranteed savings or projected efficiency-ratio changes.
Provider terms can change. The public data-handling page is the current control surface for provider-path summaries.
Institution rollouts should confirm approved tools, data classes, support owner, reporting thresholds, and seat handoff before purchase.
